Melissa was born England and came to New Zealand on her OE in 2000 where she met her Kiwi Husband (good choice!).

Melissa discovered accounting whilst raising their 3 children, and after doing accounts at Playcentre, began studying from home.

Melissa gained practical experience with a CA firm in Kaitaia, specialising in setting up Xero files, Xero training and Xero advice.

After moving to Kerikeri she completed her B.Com., majoring in accounting and management. Melissa is now looking forward to earning her CA qualification.

Like the rest of the team at Spire, Melissa enjoys working with a wide range of clients with varying needs, helping them to achieve goals and supporting them throughout.

Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, has a passion for sports, mainly rugby, and enjoys watching the kids play sports at the weekend. In the summer months she loves spending days at the beach or in the garden.
