Jeff makes the most of his spare time and treasures spending time with his wife, and enjoys pottering around in the garden on their acre of land. They both love catching up with their grown up kids from time to time, who all live overseas. Jeff likes to look after the inner man and has a passion for food – not only eating it but also cooking it. Naturally, along with an interest in food, Jeff enjoys liquid refreshment – all aspects, but particularly craft beer and wine. He also does a bit of home brewing and making interesting things like plum brandy. Jeff loves to go sailing and has done a lot of racing in the distant past. In more recent years he has spent his time cruising around the incredible Northland coast. Another way that Jeff keeps fit is to go mountain biking. Not the full-on, adrenalin-filled off-road stuff, but more into cycle trails like the Otago Rail Trail. After all the gardening, sailing, mountain biking, eating and drinking, Jeff likes to go walking and to relax with a good book.
